Punctum Lab brings together everything we've learned accompanying films on their international journey: years of experience in festivals, markets, and audiovisual sales, put to work for each project. It's a space for training and mentorship, designed for filmmakers, producers, and professionals who want to think through their film's distribution strategically, from the earliest stages of development through to its premiere and international circulation.
Every session starts from the same conviction: there are no universal formulas, each film needs its own strategy. That's why Punctum Lab offers different formats of support, from group training sessions to close, personalized work with individual projects, always adapting the content to the needs of each group or filmmaker.
Training sessions held at festivals, markets, universities, and film schools, where we share concrete tools for thinking through a film's circulation: festival strategy, exhibition and commercialization windows, and the role sales agents play in a project's international journey.
Group working sessions where we accompany a group of projects in developing their festival strategy, positioning, and promotional materials, focused on the concrete decisions each film needs to find its audience.
One-on-one, personalized support to identify the potential of a specific project and design its path forward: which festivals to prioritize, how to position it, and which distribution opportunities to explore based on its characteristics and goals.
